Zucchini and Mushroom Stuffed Turkey Burger

Makes 1 Serving: Counts towards 1 Serving Meat, ¾ cups Vegetables

 

INGREDIENTS

 1 personal Serving Lean Ground Turkey
 ½ cup Zucchini, diced
 ½ cup Mushrooms, diced
 ¼ cup Dehydrated Onions
 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
 ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
 ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
 Sea Salt, to taste
 6 Pieces Butter Head Lettuce

 

DIRECTIONS

Place diced veggies in a large bowl and add the turkey and seasonings; mix all ingredients by hand and form into a patty. Press in any loose veggies to form a patty.

Heat a grill or skillet on medium heat and add the burger; cook until brown and firm, turn it over and cook until done. (Internal temperature should be 165°F).

Wrap the burger in the lettuce to use as a bun.
