Turkey Zucchini Poppers

Turkey Zucchini Poppers

INGREDIENTS

 1 Personal Serving Ground Turkey
 ½ cup Yellow Onion, chopped
 ½ cup Zucchini, grated
 1 Jalapeño, seeded and minced
 1 Clove of Garlic, minced
 1 teaspoon Paprika
 Sea Salt, to taste
 Black Pepper, to taste
 2 tablespoons Reduced Fat Feta Cheese

 

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Mix the turkey, zucchini, jalapeño, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper together in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.

With one heaping tablespoon, form a ball in your hands with the turkey mixture; grease a baking sheet and place the balls onto it, spacing them at least 1 inch apart.

Bake the poppers for 18 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through. When done, remove from the oven and reposition the rack to the top; set the oven to broil.

While the broiler is preheating, sprinkle the top of each popper with the feta cheese. When the broiler is ready, place the poppers on the top rack and broil until lightly browned.
