Spicy Coleslaw

Makes 4 Servings: Counts towards 2 cups Vegetables

 

 

INGREDIENTS

Spicy Coleslaw
 4 cups Green Cabbage, thinly sliced
 2 cups Red Cabbage, thinly sliced
 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
 ½ cup Cilantro, chopped
Dressing
 4 tablespoons Walden Farms Coleslaw Dressing
 3 tablespoons Lime Juice
 ½ teaspoon Franks Red Hot sauce
 Sea Salt, to taste

 

DIRECTIONS

In small bowl, whisk together the coleslaw dressing, lime juice, and hot sauce and salt to taste.

Thinly slice the cabbages and green onions; chop the cilantro. Combine the cabbages, green onions and cilantro in large salad bowl and toss.

Fold the dressing into the slaw; season with the salt, to taste. You can serve immediately or chill in fridge.

*This salad will keep well overnight in the refrigerator, but the lime juice will cause the red cabbage to bleed color and turn the salad slightly pink.
