Spiced Apricot & Rosemary Marinade

Bring the water to a low boil in a sauce pan; place cinnamon stick and rosemary sprigs in the water and let simmer on medium high for 10-12 minutes; remove pot from heat and set aside.
Add in pepper flakes, salt, and apricot fruit spread stirring until the fruit spread dissolves into water. Transfer to a bowl and place in the refrigerator, letting sit for 8 to 10 hours to let the flavors mingle.
*Recommended for protein (Pork, Salmon, Chicken, Beef), but can be used to dress vegetables.
