Italian Green Beans and Peppers

Makes 2 Servings: Counts towards 2 cups Vegetables, 1 tablespoon Oil

 

INGREDIENTS

 3 cups Green Beans
 ½ cup Yellow Bell Pepper, sliced thin
 ½ cup Red Bell Pepper, sliced thin
 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
 ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
 ½ tablespoon Onion Powder
 4 tablespoons Walden Farms Italian Salad Dressing

 

DIRECTIONS

Cut the ends off the green beans and thinly slice the peppers.

In a skillet, heat the olive oil on medium/medium-low heat. Sauté all vegetables until they begin to sweat; season with onion and garlic powder.

Sauté for no more than 10 minutes, making sure they stay crisp.

Remove from heat and place the vegetables in a medium/large bowl and toss with the Italian dressing. Serve hot or refrigerate overnight to marinate and serve cold.
