RECIPE SUMMARY
Homemade Chicken Stock
Makes 2 Cups
INGREDIENTS
Chicken bones
3 Leeks, largely chopped
1 White Onion, largely chopped
1 Whole Onion, halved, unpeeled
4 to 5 Celery Stalks, largely chopped
1 Package of Poultry Herb Blend
1/3 oz. Chives
¼ oz. Marjoram
One Handful of Parsley
16 Cups of Water
Sea Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS

In a large soup pot, pour water over the chicken bones and simmer for 30 minutes, covered.

Add all the vegetables and continue to simmer for 2 hours.

Add all herbs and simmer for an additional 1.5 hours.

Strain and discard all solids.
