Crock Pot Chili

Crock Pot Chili

Makes 4 Servings: Counts towards 1-8 Oz Protein, 2 cups vegetables, ¾ cup restricted vegetables

 

INGREDIENTS

 2 lbs Ground Bison (substitute ground turkey or beef)
 3 cups Tomatoes, diced
 3 cloves Garlic, minced
 2 cups Green Bell Pepper
 2 cups Mushrooms Sliced
 1 cup Onion minced
 2 tablespoons Onion Powder
 2 tablespoons Cumin
 2 tablespoons Coriander
 4 tablespoons Chili Powder
 1 tablespoon Oregano
 1 teaspoon Cayenne, or to taste
 2 teaspoons Sea Salt, or to taste
 Black Pepper to taste
 2 cups of Imagine Organic Grass Fed Beef Broth

 

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in the crock pot, taking time to break apart the ground bison. Place the crock pot on high and cook for 6-8 hours stirring and breaking up the ground bison every hour.

*Note: for an even tastier chili brown the bison, garlic, onion, and bell peppers before placing them in the crock pot*
