INGREDIENTS

 1 Personal Serving Cod
 1½ tablespoons Avocado Oil
 2½ teaspoons Walden Farms Honey Balsamic
 1½ tablespoons Capers
 ½ teaspoon Shallot, diced small
 2 Cloves of Garlic, minced
 1/8 cup Fresh Italian Parsley, roughly chopped
 1½ tablespoons Italian Seasoning
 1½ teaspoons Onion Powder
 ½ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
 1 teaspoon Dried Fennel
 ½ teaspoon Sea Salt

 

DIRECTIONS

In a small bowl, combine all the spices together; set aside.

In a separate small bowl, combine the capers, parsley, shallot, garlic, and honey balsamic; set aside until finish.

In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of the avocado oil on high heat. Rub the remaining oil on the cod and season with the spice mix.

Reduce heat before adding fish to the pan; cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through.

Place on a plate and top with the honey piccata.
