Whisk together all of the ingredients except the steak in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Transfer the marinade to a Ziploc bag.
Place the flank steak in the marinade, making sure the steak is completely covered; place in the refrigerator and allow it to marinate for at least 2 hours.
Remove the steak from the bag and discard the remaining marinade. Grill the steak over medium high heat for 7 to 10 minutes per side.
Allow the steaks to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
