Cajun Grilled Shrimp

INGREDIENTS

Cajun Grilled Shrimp
 2 personal servings Shrimp, de-shelled
 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
 1 clove of Garlic, minced
 Sea Salt, to taste
30/10 Cajun Seasoning
 2 teaspoons Sea Salt
 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
 1 teaspoon Cayenne Powder (or to Taste)
 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
 2½ teaspoons Paprika
 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
 ½ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
 1¼ teaspoons Oregano
 1¼ teaspoons Thyme

 

DIRECTIONS

In a small dish combine the Cajun spice mix ingredients. Place 2 teaspoons in a small bowl and add lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and sea salt. Store the excess cajun spice mix in an airtight container.

Place the shrimp in a shallow dish or a food safe bag and add the spice and oil mix, coat the shrimp thoroughly and place in the fridge for 30 minutes – 2 hours.

Remove the shrimp from the fridge and heat the grill to medium high heat or about 400°F.

Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature is 145°F.
